I believe in God the eternal spirit, the creator of all things. God is spirit and not made of known created substance. God cannot be described in terms of humankind's likeness nor any other created object. As eternal God calls everything into being, there is nothing of substance that God has not made. As spirit God is neither male nor female. Yet, these created traits help us understand who God is, since God has made humans in God's image both traits can be attributed to God.
I believe in God the savior, Jesus Christ-God come to earth to redeem not only humankind but all of the earth back to God's intended purpose. Humans were called into creation for communion with God and each other as well as taking care of the earth. The fall of humankind, selfish endeavors without concern for all of creation which haunts our human nature, this is sin. Thus, God came to earth as an example of living in harmony with creation's intended purpose and as a sacrifice that takes away the sins of the world. For, it is only God the creator that was capable of this task.
I believe in God's spirit that fills those who seek God through love, love that God has shown us through the example Christ Jesus. God's spirit of love fills and guides those willing to adhere to a life of love.
I believe in a universal Church made up of those that seek a life of love, a kindom that has no earthly boundaries nor testaments or creeds that would demonstrate who belongs to the kindom. Rather, those that are in the kindom will know the others through the fruits of their spirit, which culminates in compassion and love for the whole of creation.
I believe that God is love. It is only through love that evil can be overcome. It is only by viewing all things through the lens of love that one can understand God. It is not through obedience or forced compliance to rules or law that will find God's pleasure. Rather, it is through love that leads one to seek self-compliance the only two laws that are needed; Love God with all your heart, and all your strength, and all yourself and love your neighbor as yourself.
